Today is slooooooow. Reading Apollo/Midnighter The Authority stuff at work. Might make tacos for dinner. So exciting. Want to fall asleep in the sauna and shrink into manageable size. I don't think I've slept well for about two weeks now. I'll try to finish downloading MSN messenger sometime, though I am at work all day and can't use it there. But when I get texting on my phone I'll let you all know. I watched the first two episodes of Carnivale and it was ok. TV characterizations are much too obvious for me anymore. I might still watch the rest of the first season. Maybe someday I'll get excited about religion, but probably not. I guess romance is my religion, which is cool but still makes me feel like a chump. Reminds me of that essay about compulsory heterosexuality and makes me think of Disney conspiracies. Lately I've been thinking about how nice the South is, pretty steaming hot places with sparse populations and water nearby. Big trees. Weather. Blues and cornbread. The Southwest is not quite that. The Minutemen are marching this weekend along the border. Ordinary civilians who think it's their duty to hunt down illegal border crossers. Really bothers me. I wanted to drive down to the border, maybe go to Rocky Point in Mexico, but not this weekend. The wildflowers are blooming though. I think I'll go north a little instead, to the Renaissance Festival.
