Recipe for cheese fondue just like The Melting Pot!!!! (actually from the new Moosewood Cookbook)
in a pot:
melt 2 T butter
add 2 T flour and 1 tsp dry mustard
whisk well
add 1 bottle of warm beer
1 tsp prepared horseradish
heat for 10 minutes, stirring often
add 8oz block of grated sharp cheddar
1 clove minced garlic
salt, pepper, cayenne to taste
heat until well melted
serve with rye bread, celery, green apples, etc. yum!!!!!
