To Kevin: I also had a little bit more respect for Nicole Kidman after seeing 'Birth.' I enjoyed that movie, though it was a little frustrating. If Louis Malle can have his film version of himself have sex with his mother, why can't Nicole Kidman's character have a love scene with a boy she thinks is her dead husband? While I like Victorian romance, deep down, I wish it would just die already so we don't have women swooning or dying for no reason or too afraid to show their love even when they really believe in it. It is getting old, over a century later. There are many new interesting stories to tell.
